Savory Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 pieces bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup rice
- 1 medium onion
- 1.5 cups tomato sauce
- 0.5 cup cheese
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until the beef is browned.
- Add cooked rice and tomato sauce to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the beef and rice mixture.
- Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
