Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1.5 cups tomato sauce
  • 0.5 cup cheese
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until the beef is browned.
  4. Add cooked rice and tomato sauce to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Stuff the bell peppers with the beef and rice mixture.
  6. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and sprinkle cheese on top.
  8. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
