Savory Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 pieces bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, cooked rice, tomato sauce, cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil, sprinkle additional cheese on top, and bake for another 15 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
