Savory Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  • 4 pieces bell peppers
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, cooked rice, tomato sauce, cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff the bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove the foil, sprinkle additional cheese on top, and bake for another 15 minutes until the peppers are tender and the cheese is melted.
