Savory Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 pieces bell peppers
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1.5 cups tomato sauce
- 1.5 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup cheese
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is no longer pink; drain.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, cooked rice, 1/2 cup of cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the bell peppers with the meat mixture and place them in a baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Uncover, sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
