Savory Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  • 4 pcs bell peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves garlic cloves
  • 15 oz tomato sauce
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove the seeds and membranes.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, onion, garlic, tomato sauce, cooked rice, cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each bell pepper with the ground beef mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish and pour a small amount of water in the bottom of the dish.
  6. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the peppers are tender and the beef is cooked through.
  8. Serve the savory stuffed bell peppers hot and enjoy!
