Ingredients

  • 8 lamb chops (about 1 kg)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the lamb chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
  4. Add the lamb chops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes for medium-rare or until desired doneness.
  6. Remove from the oven and let the lamb chops rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve the lamb chops with minced garlic and fresh rosemary.
