Ingredients
- 1 cup (240g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1.5 cups (190g) all purpose gluten-free flour
- 3/4 cup (90g) cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon (5g) baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2g) salt
- 4 large (200g) eggs
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, remove from heat and allow the butter to cool for a few minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown rice flour, almond flour, tapioca flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the eggs one at a time to the melted butter, stirring after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake the cake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before slicing and serving.
