Sourdough Garlic Bread

  • Servings: 4
  • Difficulty: easy
  • Time: 15 minutes
  • Tools: baking sheet, spoon, knife

Ingredients

  • 4 pre-sliced sourdough breads (150 g each or 5 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup (113 g or 1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the butter, minced garlic, and salt together. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Using a knife or a spoon, spread the garlic butter mixture onto each slice of sourdough bread.
  4. Place the sliced bread on a baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and toasted.
  5. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Personal Recipe Notes

I broil it for a little bit at the end to crisp up the top. But be careful, it can burn quickly. Grated parmesan is a good topping to throw on top right before broiling.
